WHEN: 3 evenings: July 19th, 20nd and 21st.
WHERE: Royston, Coombes Community Centre
About the course
I have a long-standing fascination with food and healthy food in particular - it stems from a history of problems with both weight and emotional eating, that I have happily overcome. This three-session workshop will now help YOU to understand how the Chinese Medicine and Philosophy view food, and how to use that understanding to balance your health and lose weight!
The sessions are designed to work together. The course is limited to 10 places, so book early to guarantee your spot!
COST: £45 for the three evenings, plus optional £1 donation towards healthy snacks.
All participants will receive a £20 off voucher for a special belly-warming, no needle treatment to boost digestion and energy.
If you are suffering from:
low energy levels
...or if you would like to balance the symptoms of:
the effort of giving birth
– this workshop is for you!
Over three evenings, I will teach you how to read your body and how to understand the various energetic effects that various foods have on us.
After the workshop, you will be able to:
assess the influence of a particular food
analyse your own tongue
have an idea of where your symptoms come from
gain some understanding of Yin and Yang and the Five Elements as applied to diet
know how use food to boost your health and metabolism
understand and respect your cravings
use mindfulness techniques to promote ideal digestion and weightloss
assess when to reach out for more support from Chinese Medicine techniques
enjoy recipes and eating-management ideas you probably haven’t thought of before
The cost is only £15 per session – £45 for the three modules (plus optional £1 for super healthy snacks). Please note the sessions work together as one, and booking the whole seminar is required, unless you have special circumstances you have discussed with me.
Friday July 19th, 8pm -9 pm
Saturday July 20th, 7pm - 8pm
Sunday July 21st, 7pm – 8pm.
